You can now select the spoken language when uploading personal files. If you know the language, choosing it improves accuracy and reduces processing time, particularly for noisy recordings and short clips.

• Better results on noisy audio, strong accents, and dialects.
• Fewer mis‑detections on short clips.
• Clearer numbers, names, and punctuation.
• Faster processing when detection can be skipped.

How it works

1. Upload a personal file.
2. When prompted, choose the spoken language (or leave Auto‑detect if you’re unsure).
3. Continue. Video Highlight locks in the best recognition model for that language.

Good to know

• Auto‑detect remains available.
• This choice only affects speech recognition; it doesn’t change your summary language.
• If you mostly work in one language, set a default in Preferences.
