PowerInspect 2018 Essential Skills – Tutorial 10 – Performing the Measurements & Reporting

CNC Controlled Inspection Devices: Overview

Simulation and Safety Checks

  • The Pair Inspect feature allows for simulation of inspection processes before execution on CNC machines, ensuring safety in pro paths and intermediary link moves.
  • Identifying potential issues in the pro path prior to running the inspection sequence enables corrective actions through manual edits and automatic collision avoidance features.

Real-Time Measurement Execution

  • To initiate measurement on a manual device, users can click the "play item" button, which switches Pair Inspector to full-screen measurement mode.
  • Users can stop the measurement process at any time by clicking the cancel button; measuring all items sequentially is possible with the "play all" button.

Reporting Functionality

  • Pair Inspect automatically generates an inspection report during playback, allowing users to view it anytime. Items or entire groups can be excluded from this report.
