Types of Endocytosis

Phagocytosis

• Phagocytosis occurs when particulate matter, such as bacterial cells or organic fragments, is engulfed by the cell.

Pinocytosis

• Pinocytosis refers to the ingestion of liquid materials in molecular form.

Receptor-Mediated Endocytosis
