Video description

Reviewing the Asus Vivobook 13 Slate OLED tablet-cum-laptop, a media-centric Windows 11 machine with one major weakness. I've been testing this touchscreen tab, which comes bundled with keyboard dock and stylus for a budget-friendly price, for a week now. And while the Vivobook 13 Slate OLED boasts a gorgeous screen and some impressive features, the performance is a massive let-down. This is the 4GB RAM review model, so if you're tempted by Asus' Windows tablet convertible, I'd definitely say upgrade to 8GB instead. That said, I can't imagine the speed increase will be enough to dramatically improve the performance of this transformer. If all you want to do is sketch in basic apps and stream video on the likes of Disney Plus, then no worries. I also enjoyed the Asus Vivobook 13 Slate OLED's keyboard and Pen 2.0 stylus. Even the unboxing experience is enjoyable. However, try running pro apps or even browsing the web and everything crashes to a halt. Battery life is another positive thankfully, while the design (stand aside) is nice, but the damage has sadly been done.
