- Double door containers feature doors at both ends for easier loading/unloading; goods can be accessed from either end without reversing.
- Open-top containers lack a roof, suitable for oversized cargo like heavy machinery. Cargo can be secured with lashing rings but cannot be stacked if it exceeds roof height.
