Ben's Journey and Transformation
The Fire Incident
- Hours after arriving in town, Ben seeks his grandfather and cousin but is exhausted. He stops to rest when a nearby building catches fire.
- Seeing the fire as an opportunity to use his powers positively, Ben accidentally transforms into XLR8 and rushes towards the burning building.
Rescue Efforts
- Inside the building, Ben discovers victims who have perished in the flames. He finds two children hiding in a closet, terrified and calling for their mother.
