Forms of Simple Present Verbs
- Simple present verbs have two forms depending on the subject of the sentence.
- Use a base verb with subjects like I, you, we, or they. For example: "I walk to school every day."
- Use verb + s with subjects like he, she, or it. For instance: "He reads the newspaper on the weekend."
- Verb + s is used with singular nouns like "The student walks to school every day" and non-count nouns such as "Snow falls from the sky in winter."
Application of Simple Present Tense
- The simple present tense is also used for non-count nouns and singular nouns.
- Examples include sentences like "My hair grows quickly" and "Snow falls from the sky in winter."
