Deltoid Muscle Stretch Technique
In this video, Rob from Body Bieber demonstrates three different techniques to stretch the deltoid muscle.
Back Part of Deltoid Muscle Stretch
- Place hand on opposite shoulder and bring elbow up to shoulder height.
- Slowly push hand past the shoulder until feeling a stretch in the back of the shoulder.
- Hold for 30-60 seconds.
Outside Part of Deltoid Muscle Stretch
- Get into same position as before but bring forearm to be vertical.
- Pull elbow slowly towards opposite shoulder until feeling a stretch through this part of the deltoid.
- Hold for 30-60 seconds.
Front Part of Deltoid Muscle Stretch
- Sit with hands out behind about shoulder width apart or slightly wider.
- Bend elbows and slide hips towards feet.
- Slowly lean back towards hands letting out all those bend until feeling a stretch through front of the shoulder.
- Hold for 30-60 seconds.
Important Notes
- It is important to feel the stretch through these parts of the shoulder.
