Firewall Configuration for Firebird Port

Configuring Firewall Settings

• To access the Windows security settings, click on the "Settings" menu and select "Security."

• Click on "Windows Security," then select "Firewall & network protection," followed by "Advanced settings."

• Create a new inbound rule by right-clicking and selecting "New Rule."

• Define the TCP local port as 3050 (the port used by Firebird) and allow connections from all options.

• Name the rule (e.g., Fire Punch) and complete it.

• Repeat these steps for outbound rules.

This configuration must be done on the server to enable stations to be configured in the database without using backslashes.
