How to Use the Gas Order Module for Image Annotation

Introduction to the Gas Order Module

  • The video introduces the functionality of the Gas Order module, which allows users to create annotated images marked with colorful stars. Each star corresponds to a definition that students must match with the highlighted part of the image.

Creating an Annotated Image

  • Users can click on "Create" and choose from available templates in the system, including pre-made examples like a science project about the eye. This helps understand how to utilize the tool effectively.
  • In the creation page, users are prompted to title their assignment (e.g., "Match definitions") and select an image of interest using an internal search engine or by uploading from their device.

Highlighting and Marking Elements

  • After successfully uploading an image, users proceed to highlight areas by applying markers represented as colored pins. There are six colors available for marking; if more than six markers are needed, colors will have to be reused.
  • Each marker can be linked with text elements such as names or definitions related to parts of the image, allowing for interactive learning experiences through text-to-speech options or audio files.

Adding Feedback and Finalizing Assignments

  • Users can provide feedback for correct answers and offer hints or guidance within default settings provided by the platform. This enhances student engagement during exercises.
