🔵 Curso Google Sites ✅ Crear índice y enlazado interno
Creating an Index in Google Slides
Introduction to the Course
- This video tutorial focuses on creating an index for long pages in Google Slides, enhancing navigation through extensive content.
- The session will also cover how to create missing course pages and establish links between them.
Creating a New Page
- To start, navigate to the pages menu and add a new page under the tutorials section by clicking on the three dots next to it. Name this page "Tutorial: Visual Studio Code and Java."
- The title is placed at the bottom of the page, followed by adding text elements and images that explain Visual Studio Code and Java.
Adding Content Elements
- A paragraph is added using double-clicking to generate text, which can be adjusted as needed. An example header titled "What is Visual Studio Code?" is created as an H2 element.
- Various content types such as buttons, paragraphs, titles, subtitles, videos, and images are incorporated into the page for demonstration purposes.
Inserting an Index
- An index is inserted just below the main title by clicking on a button that allows for automatic generation based on existing headers throughout the page. This feature organizes content effectively.
- Each entry in the index corresponds directly with previously created headings or subtitles within the document structure. For instance, "What is Visual Studio Code?" appears as part of this generated list.
Customizing Index Visibility
- If certain elements should not appear in the index (like a main title), they can be hidden by clicking on an eye icon next to them; this action prevents those items from being displayed in preview mode.
Linking Tutorial Pages
- The final step involves linking each tutorial image back to its respective tutorial page so users can easily navigate through all available tutorials when clicked upon.
Creating Additional Course Pages
Developing Missing Courses
- New course pages for OBS and various Google courses are planned for creation; these will include links back to their respective sections once completed.
Finalizing Links Between Courses
- After creating all necessary course pages, each image representing a course will be linked appropriately so that users can access specific content directly from one central location within Google Slides.

How to Insert Links in Course Pages
Inserting YouTube Playlists and Course Links
- The process of inserting links involves copying the URL from a source, such as a YouTube playlist, and pasting it into the designated area. After pasting, clicking "apply" finalizes the insertion.
- Similar steps are followed for adding links to specific courses, like JavaScript or Blender. Each link is pasted and then applied to ensure proper functionality.
- A link to the creator's page is also included, demonstrating consistency in linking practices across different course pages.
Finalizing Course Page Links
- The last step includes adding a button that directs users to view all courses available on the platform. This enhances navigation by providing easy access to course listings.
- Upon previewing the page, clicking on "view courses" leads users directly to a comprehensive list of available courses, ensuring an organized presentation of educational content.
Exploring Individual Courses
- Clicking on specific courses (e.g., OBS Studio or Google 6) reveals detailed descriptions, introductory videos, and tutorial lists for each course. This feature enriches user experience by providing essential information upfront.
