Diego, ciego de nacimiento, se enfrenta al desafío de explicar algo que nunca ha visto: cómo son los colores de las flores... Actualmente, más del 98% del alumnado con discapacidad visual se escolariza en colegios ordinarios, en su pueblo, barrio o ciudad de residencia, siguiendo el currículo escolar oficial. El objetivo es conseguir la mayor normalización e inclusión del menor en el entorno familiar, social y educativo a través de los servicios de la ONCE, con la intervención de profesionales especializados que conforman equipos específicos compuestos por diversos profesionales (psicólogos, maestros, terapeutas, trabajadores sociales, técnicos de rehabilitación...).
