Can You Have Pets in Jannah? | Ep. 22 | #JannahSeries with Dr. Omar Suleiman

Pets in Jannah

In this video, the speaker talks about pets and animals in Jannah as described by the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). He explains that there are heavenly creatures in Jannah that serve the purpose of serving and comforting us. The speaker also discusses various types of animals that will be present in Jannah.

Heavenly Animals

  • Allah will create creatures in Jannah that will serve us and comfort us.
  • The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) talked about animals in Jannah, but they are heavenly animals.
  • Believers will be received with white sea camels with wings and gold saddles when they come out of their graves on the Day of Judgment.
  • Every step of these camels will be to the range of vision, similar to Burak, which was the animal that the Prophet rode on during Israa' and Mi'raj.

Rewards for Sacrificing Animals

  • A man brought a sea camel to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), and he said on the Day of Judgment, he would have 700 sea camels each with a rope through its nose ring in Jannah.
  • If someone sacrifices an animal for Allah's sake here, they get rewarded with it being placed on their Mizan or scale before. They can then enjoy those animals in Jannah.

Types of Animals

  • The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said if Allah enters you into Jannah, you shall be brought a horse made of rubies with two wings. It will take you wherever you want to go.
  • There are exotic birds walking around Jannah, and their necks are the lengths of giraffes.
  • There are butterflies of gold flying around in Jannah.
  • There are insects that glitter throughout Jannah.
  • Allah talks about the Servants of Elgin, which is a heavenly creature made in Jannah for the pleasure and service of the people of Jannah.

The Welcome Committee in Jannah

This section describes the welcome committee that greets a believer when they first enter Jannah.

Eternal Youth as Servants

  • Believers are greeted by Eternal youth who serve them.
  • These servants are compared to scattered pearls because of their beauty and constant motion.
  • They carry out the wishes and commands of the believers.

Messenger from Allah

  • A messenger from Allah visits the friend of Allah in his Palace in Paradise.
  • The angel seeks permission for the messenger to see the friend of Allah.
  • The angel presents gifts and food to the friend of Allah on behalf of Allah.

Gatekeepers and Guards

  • There is no need for gatekeepers or guards in Jannah as they are there only to add to one's rank.
  • Even the lowest person in rank in Jannah has 15,000 servants serving them every morning and evening.

Conclusion

This section concludes the transcript with music playing.
