Overview of the Course Structure

• The course is a collaboration between UCAM and the School of Project Management, aimed at teaching the fundamentals of the PMBOK Guide, which serves as a reference for PMP certification preparation.

• A forum will be activated for students to present their doubts, with responses provided by instructors for clarification on presented topics.

Module Breakdown

• The course consists of eight modules:

• Module 1: Conceptual framework of project management fundamentals.

• Module 2: Focus on the project life cycle and organization structure.

• Module 3: Introduction to process groups involved in project life cycles.

• Subsequent modules cover:

• Module 4: Extensive discussion on initiation processes.

• Module 5: Execution processes.

• Module 6: Monitoring and controlling processes.

• Module 7: Closing processes.

• Module 8 will address general principles of ethics and professional responsibility for project managers. These principles are essential in managing any given project.

Methodology and Assessment

• The course methodology includes watching videos available in the classroom, followed by assessments:

• After each module, there will be a quiz consisting of ten questions.

• At the end of the course, there will be a comprehensive exam with forty questions that mimic those found in PMP certification exams.
