New Section
In this section, we will discuss the four financial situations that a company can find itself in.
Total Financial Stability
- This situation occurs when all the assets of a company are financed by equity.
- It is not common and usually happens when a company is starting.
- Not having debt may seem positive, but it can limit the growth rate of the company.
Normal Financial Situation
- This situation occurs when the working capital gives a positive result.
- The company has more money than it needs to pay in the short term.
- Current assets are financed with current liabilities and part of non-current liabilities.
Bankruptcy or Suspension of Payments
- This situation occurs when the working capital is negative, and the company cannot meet immediate payments.
- The company can either liquidate or reach an agreement with creditors to avoid liquidation.
Bankruptcy of the Company
- This situation occurs when the company lacks its own resources and has accumulated losses that absorb all net equity.
- The company becomes unable to pay debts and is forced to close and liquidate.
