Introduction to Linear Relationships

Simplifying Relationship Establishment

• To add a milestone, users right-click and select "New," then set its duration to zero days; this changes its graphical representation to a diamond shape on the schedule diagram, indicating it’s a milestone event linked with relevant activities like Work Package 1 completion.

Linking Additional Milestones

• Similar steps are followed for creating additional milestones for other work packages (e.g., Work Package 2), reinforcing that setting their duration to zero automatically designates them as milestones within the project management software interface.
