New Free AI Art Generator Does Something Unique / A Look at Prome.AI

Introduction to AI Image Generator

In this section, the speaker introduces a new AI image generator that offers more control over image output. The tool is free and aims to address common problems mentioned by viewers.

AI Image Generator Overview

  • The speaker presents a character concept sketch from a comic book project.
  • The sketch is transformed into a photorealistic image using the AI image generator called Chromie AI.
  • Chromie AI is developed by the team behind cutout.pro, known for their background removers, image resizers, and video tools.
  • Sketch rendering is the main module of Chromie AI discussed in this video.

Sketch Rendering Module

This section focuses on the sketch rendering module of Chromie AI and its unique approach compared to other prop generators.

Using Sketch Rendering Module

  • Sketch rendering in Chromie AI acts as an image prompter rather than a standard prop generator.
  • Additional prompts can be added to enhance the stylization process.
  • Different styles such as realistic, precise, animation, concept, and fantasy are available for experimentation.
  • Iterations with different styles result in various outputs with distinct visual effects.

Fixing Shirt Pattern Issue

This section highlights how Chromie AI handles issues with specific elements in an image and provides solutions.

Fixing Shirt Pattern Issue

  • The generated image had some problems with the shirt pattern due to its original sketch nature.
  • By using the erase and replace feature in Chromie AI, users can modify specific areas of an image easily.
  • The speaker demonstrates erasing parts of the shirt pattern and replacing it with a black t-shirt design featuring a white dragon motif.

Examples and Further Iterations

This section showcases additional examples of images transformed using Chromie AI and emphasizes the ability to iterate and experiment with different modules.

Example Images and Iterations

  • The speaker presents another image based on the style used by Brian Michael Bendis in his comic book "Jinx."
  • By running the realistic mode, a photorealistic image is generated, while the precise mode produces a more stylized version.
  • The speaker demonstrates how changing prompts and modules can lead to different outputs, such as a cyberpunk street-themed image.
  • Chromie AI allows users to continue iterating and experimenting with various styles, resulting in unique visual interpretations.

Conclusion

The AI image generator Chromie AI offers users more control over their image output. With its sketch rendering module, users can prompt images for stylization using various styles. Additionally, Chromie AI provides tools like erase and replace for fixing specific elements in an image. Through iterations and experimentation, users can achieve diverse visual effects.

Dawn Game and Prompting Effects

The speaker discusses their experience with a game called Dawn and how they used prompting in Pro me.ai to see its effects on the game's output.

Prompting Effects in Pro me.ai

  • The speaker played the game Dawn and took an image and prompt to see how prompting affects things in Pro me.ai.
  • They found the output of Pro me.ai to be really cool, but it did get tripped up and created a metal side cheek resembling Harry Potter's scar on the original image.
  • The speaker used the inpainting tool to remove the metal fragments, but decided to leave some behind as they thought it looked cool.

Examples of Using Pro me AI

The speaker provides examples of using Pro me AI for different purposes.

Example 1: Comic Panel Transformation

  • The speaker shares a panel from a comic called "Henchman Inc" and uses Pro me AI to transform it.
  • The resulting image is described as pretty crazy, with interesting HD repaint features that add texture to elements like leather jackets and hats.

Example 2: Molly's Sketch Transformation

  • The speaker mentions a previous video where their daughter Molly drew a picture of a bad robot.
  • They use another sketch by Molly, this time of a squishy mellow plague doctor, and apply Pro me AI to transform it.
  • Molly approves of the transformed image, indicating that it looks decent.

Exploring Promi AI

The speaker discusses further possibilities with Promi AI and encourages viewers to explore its features.

Photo Bashing and Free Tier

  • The speaker suggests exploring photo bashing capabilities in Promi AI, which they didn't have a chance to experiment with.
  • Promi AI offers both free tier usage and a membership tier with additional features like high-res image downloads and HD repaint.
  • Viewers are encouraged to give Promi AI a try, as it is free to use and experiment with.

Acknowledgements

The speaker expresses gratitude towards Pro me AI and cutout.pro for sponsoring the video and providing free credits to viewers.

Appreciation for Pro me AI

  • The speaker commends the Pro me AI team for creating something cool and unique in the field of AI image generators.
  • Viewers are invited to try out Promi AI and share their thoughts in the comments section.

Video description

Today we're taking a look at an interesting new AI Art Generator that does something fairly unique in terms of its prompting methodology. This is PromeAI, from the team at Cutout.Pro. I think Prome is a really interesting tool for those of you who have been looking at doing AI Generated Comic Books, and we'll be taking a look at how the AI fares by first taking images and sketches from comics I have worked on in the past and turning them into photo-real, or stylistic images. It works a bit like Midjourney's Image Prompting, but takes your images less as suggestions, and more as direction. Additionally, if you AREN'T great at drawing, I tried out one of my daughter's sketches (Look, I'm not saying she's bad, she's just ten!) and using Prome to render out one of her pieces of art. Prome.AI is free, but only allows you to download the lowres images. They do have a Membership tier that will allow access to the high-res versions. So, give it a shot and see what you think! As an FYI, this video was sponsored by Prome.AI and Cutout.Pro, but I honestly think the platform is interesting and worth checking out, so I wanted to bring it to you.
