Badminton Techniques Overview

Serve Techniques
- The long serve is a defensive shot used in singles. It involves positioning the left foot forward for right-handed players and the right foot forward for left-handed players.
Different Types of Shots
- Clear: An offensive shot executed from the back of the court to send the shuttlecock deep into the opponent's court.
- Drop: An offensive shot played from the back or center of the court to make the shuttlecock fall just behind the net.
- Lob: A defensive shot played near the net with a low racket position aiming to send the shuttlecock deep into opponent's court.
- Drive: An offensive shot played between shoulders and waist level with a parallel trajectory to the ground.
- Smash: A purely offensive shot executed from any part of the court aiming to hit the shuttlecock forcefully into opponent's court.
