10 Main Rules for Playing Ring Golf
Objective of the Game
- The primary goal of ring golf is to score goals in the opposing team's net or hoop.
- Scoring a goal in the net adds one point, while scoring in the hoop adds two points to the team's total.
- The team with the highest score, calculated from both types of goals, wins the game.
Gameplay Rules
- Players can strike the ball using any part of their body except for their head and fists.
- A player may intentionally hit the ball up to two times in succession.
- Using both hands to strike the ball is prohibited unless it’s during a throw-in or when launching towards the hoop.
Specific Techniques
- Kicking the ball must be done in a parabolic manner; this applies during gameplay and throw-ins outside of goal areas.
- In case of a foul, play resumes with a free kick taken by two teammates: one as passer and another as shooter from where the infraction occurred.
