Mito : " El origen del Sol y la Luna"
The Origin of the Sun and the Moon
The Enchantment of Celestial Bodies
- A goddess and a mortal fall in love, resulting in the birth of two children: Luna (Moon) and Sol (Sun), who are semi-deities unaware of day and night.
- The goddess Frenefone, representing war, takes her children to a battle practice to prepare them for their future roles.
- During the battle, Sol's curiosity leads him into danger; Luna follows closely behind until she catches him as they retreat.
- To save her children from being trampled by warriors' horses, Frenefone transforms them into celestial bodies: Luna becomes the Moon and Sol becomes the Sun.
- After ascending to her temple in the sky, Frenefone sees her son's face carved into the Sun and later observes her daughter's likeness in the Moon.
