Overview of New Contract Thresholds
- The new thresholds for harmonized contracts will come into effect on January 1, 2024.
- Current thresholds include €5,382 for works and service concessions, which will be updated to €5,538.
Changes in Supply and Service Contracts
- For general state administration, the threshold for supplies and services increases from €140,000 to €143,000.
- Outside the general state administration, the threshold rises from €215,000 to €221,000.
Implications of New Regulations
- Contracts related to works or service concessions valued at or above €5,538 will be subject to harmonized regulations starting January 1, 2024.
- Supplies and services contracts within the general state administration must meet or exceed a value of €143,000 to fall under these regulations.
- Non-general state administration contracts must have an estimated value equal to or greater than €221,000 to be considered regulated.
