Debido a su comportamiento violento con los vecinos, Feliciana tiene que amarrarla cuando sale a entregar la ropa de planchado y lavado ajeno. Un día al regresar a casa, Feliciana es sorprendida por Dominga, quien se había desamarrado y la amenazaba con un martillo; se enfrascan en un forcejeo, y en un momento Feliciana logra quitarle el martillo y golpearle las piernas a Dominga, pero ésta se sigue resistiendo y agrediéndola. La madre, desesperada y sin sospechar las consecuencias, le da un golpe en la cabeza, provocándole la muerte al instante. Ahora Feliciana enfrenta un juicio por matar a su hija.
