Las fotoceldas cuentan con tres cables que son línea, neutro y carga,la carga y el neutro van hacia la lámpara y el neutro hace una derivación hacia el interruptor termomagnético y la línea va directamente hacia la fotocelda. Las fotoceldas son un sensor que trabaja mediante la luz ambiental al captar luz apaga la lámpara automáticamente y al no captar luz enciende la lámpara automáticamente.
