El pase adelante o de dedos | Voleibol
New Section
In this video, you will learn how to perform a forward pass or finger pass in volleyball. This pass allows you to place the ball near the net for the attacker to make their hit. The three stages of a good pass are: moving into position, preparing, and returning the ball.
Desplazarse (Moving into Position)
- When the ball is approaching, observe its trajectory and run to the landing point to catch it before it falls.
- Stop under its trajectory so that it falls directly in front of you.
- Position your feet, hips, and shoulders in the direction you want to throw the ball.
Preparación (Preparing)
- Advance your foot closest to the net slightly.
- Bend your knees a bit more and keep your back straight.
- Bend your elbows at about 90 degrees and lift them above your shoulders.
- Place your hands above your forehead with fingers relaxed and slightly bent.
- Rotate your palms forward until the tips of your thumbs are facing each other, forming a triangle with your thumbs and index fingers.
Devolver el balón (Returning the Ball)
- Before receiving the ball, crouch down slightly and lean forward.
- As the ball passes above eye level, use your legs to jump as high as possible.
- Use your index fingers, middle fingers, and thumbs to contact the ball. Avoid using fingertips or palms.
