I experienced severe problems with fatigue for a very long time. Today we’re going to talk about the foods I’ve found to maximize energy. You may be tired from other things like lack of sleep or stress. But, in this video, we’re going to focus on the foods that can affect your energy both negatively and positively. I believe you’ll actually be more successful if you focus more on avoiding certain foods rather than focusing on the foods you are eating. If you’re eating foods that are supposed to boost your energy, but at the same time, you’re eating foods that should be avoided, you’re not going to get your energy back. The most important thing is to avoid all sugars and carbs. Your carbs should be below 30g. Frequent eating also kills your energy. The best foods for maximum energy: Protein — Too much protein can cause you to be tired. You need a moderate amount of protein (3-8 oz. per meal). The meat should be fatty, not lean. Key minerals — You need potassium and magnesium. Salads and vegetables are great sources of both potassium and magnesium. B vitamins — Refined grains deplete B vitamins. Nutritional yeast is a great source of B vitamins. Fats — MCT oil, animal fats, fatty nuts, and eggs are great sources of fat to help boost energy.
