The Three-Act Structure
The fundamental storytelling structure consists of a beginning, middle, and end, also referred to as setup, conflict, and conclusion.
This three-act structure organizes information by cause and effect, similar to how movies are structured.
Each scene in a movie also follows the same beginning-middle-end format, allowing for coherent storytelling.
Applying the Structure to Lyrics
A formula can be applied to lyrics using "so," "but," "because," and "therefore" to create tension and narrative flow.
