Advanced Strategies

• Meadows and Blooming Meadows: Place meadows next to each other for healing or next to other tiles for blooming meadows that provide bonus resources.

• Mountain Peaks: Create a 3x3 area of rocks or mountains to convert it into a mountain peak, which boosts HP and provides bonus materials.

• Gear Switching Mid-combat: Pause combat by hovering over yourself or an enemy, holding down left click, or accessing your inventory. Switch out gear mid-combat for better performance against different enemies.

• Hungry Groves: Place blood groves next to each other to create hungry groves that instantly finish off enemies but periodically damage your hero as well.

• Vampire Summoning Mansions: Place vampire summoning mansions next to swamp tiles for reversed healing effects, damaging attackers instead.

Boss Fight Tips

• Lich Boss Fight: Hold onto oblivion cards to destroy the palaces the lich summons. Leaving palaces standing increases the lich's HP and damage.

• Scorn Worms: Avoid placing ruin tiles next to each other or combat-heavy areas as scorn worms can use ranged attacks during adjacent fights.

• Rogue Class Gear Gathering: If playing as the rogue, back out of the auto retreat screen while in planning phase to turn in acquired trophies, gain extra gear, and still retreat with additional resources.

Tile Interactions

• Storm Temples: Placing storm temples turns forest or thicket tiles into burned forests, providing a magic damage boost instead of an attack speed boost.

• Oasis: Place river tiles next to desert or sand dunes to create oases that reduce attack speed.

• Soldiers turn against necromancers but benefit rogues by acquiring trophies instead of gear during battles.

Necromancer Attack Speed

• Necromancers should not neglect their attack speed stat as they spawn new minions every time the attack meter fills.

• High attack speed allows for quickly spawning new allies faster than enemies can defeat them, making it an important defensive stat.
