A+ ICT Entry Checklist - ICT Concepts
A+ Setup Checklist
In this video, the speaker provides a checklist for entering higher quality trades using the 2022 mentorship model. The checklist includes looking for liquidity grabs, market structure shifts with displacement, and fair value gaps or order block setups above or below the 0.5 fib.
Liquidity Grab
- Look for some sort of liquidity grab before entering a trade.
- Check for equal highs where liquidity gets taken.
- If there is no equal high, move to lower timeframes to find one.
Fair Value Gap or Order Block Setup
- After finding a liquidity grab, look for a fair value gap or order block setup above or below the 0.5 fib of the displacement range.
- For shorting, set up in a premium above the fair value gap.
- For longing, set up in a discount below the fair value gap.
- Enter at the discount/premium and put your stop right above/below that fair value gap.
Partial Profits
- Take partial profits at equal lows/highs.
- First partial profit should be at an order block/fair value gap.
- Second partial profit should be at another low/high.
Higher Time Frame Reasoning
- Liquidity grabs can also occur on higher time frames.
- Look for balance on higher time frames to find liquidity grabs.
- Use market structure shift with displacement and fair value gaps/order blocks to enter trades on higher time frames.
Smaller Time Frame Example
- Look for liquidity resting before news embargo lifts.
- Find market structure shift with displacement and enter at discount/premium with stop loss just above/below fair value gap/order block setup.
- Take partial profits at equal lows/highs.
