hi I'm Eun I'm here with the 2023 Nash Triad which has had a complete design overhaul this year to make the kite better in waves but also not lose that DNA it had for the great easy all-round Free Ride kite it was so what we've done to achieve this we've made the aspect ratio slightly lower which gives it easier turning we've swept the kite back a bit to give some lighter bar feel and we've squared out the wingtip a little bit here which you can see and what that does is it gives the kite much better drift down the line and stability in the air we've still kept the left strut which is in the middle of the kite here
Eun introduces herself and talks about the design changes made to improve the Nash Triad kite's performance in waves while maintaining its versatility. Changes include lowering aspect ratio for easier turning, sweeping back the kite for lighter bar feel, squaring out wingtips for better drift and stability, and retaining a central strut for breathability and sheet-and-go ability.
which means the strut actually runs straight and is slightly detached from the canopy which lets the kite breathe and gives it a really good sheet and go ability so for beginners and intermediate kiters and light wind riding gives you that great shooting and go and also for waves it gives the kite a really nice drift down the line
The central strut of the kite is explained to run straight and be slightly detached from the canopy, allowing for breathability and excellent sheet-and-go ability. This design feature benefits beginners, intermediate kiters, light wind riding, and wave riding by providing shooting-and-go performance and smooth drift.
The Triad is built with the same durability That Old National we have the great quadtex canopy material Cajun Dacron which is the highest quality and strongest outcrone on the market well-tested Bridal lines and then something that's really great this year is the new redesigned wingtip construction so what we've done here
The Triad kite is constructed with durable materials including quadtex canopy material and high-quality Cajun Dacron. It features well-tested bridal lines. A notable improvement in this year's model is the redesigned wingtip construction.
we've actually created a wingtip construction that are 30 stronger than previous models using less Dacron but in a more strategic way and you can see the canopy now runs all the way to the tip giving it a really nice clean look and we've used Dacron here up the trailing Edge to reduce flutter and increase strength
The new wingtip construction of the Triad kite is highlighted as being 30% stronger than previous models while using less Dacron strategically. The extended canopy running to the tip provides a clean look, while Dacron along the trailing edge reduces flutter and enhances strength.
you have two turning speed options there faster turning low to Bar pressure slower turning slightly heavier bar pressure
The Triad kite offers two turning speed options: faster turning with low bar pressure or slower turning with slightly heavier bar pressure.
it's really for anyone it's a really easy forgiving kite for beginner to intermediate twin tip Riders looking for a shed-in and go kite that still will let them progress into jumps rolls transitions even kite Loops or the rider that wants a really good quick wave kite that you can shut off the power easily have a plenty of low end grunt so you can ride a smaller kite than usual and really good dandelion drift so yeah the Triad this year has come into its own
The Triad kite is suitable for all riders, offering forgiveness and ease of use for beginners to intermediate twin tip riders. It allows progression in jumps, rolls, transitions, and even kite loops. Additionally, it serves as an excellent wave kite with easy power control, ample low-end grunt for riding smaller kites, and impressive drift capabilities.

The video starts with music playing and applause from the audience. Eun introduces herself as she presents the 2023 Nash Triad kite, which has undergone design changes to enhance its performance in waves while maintaining its versatility. The lower aspect ratio allows for easier turning, while sweeping back the kite provides lighter bar feel. Squaring out the wingtip improves drift and stability. The central strut design allows breathability and sheet-and-go ability. The Triad features durable materials such as quadtex canopy material and Cajun Dacron. A notable improvement is the redesigned wingtip construction that enhances strength while using less Dacron strategically. Two turning speed options are available: faster turning with low bar pressure or slower turning with slightly heavier bar pressure. The Triad is suitable for beginner to intermediate twin tip riders seeking an easy-to-use shed-and-go kite that allows progression in various maneuvers or riders who desire a quick wave kite with easy power control, low-end grunt, and excellent drift capabilities.
