Elaboração de Fluxogramas de Processos

Introduction and Overview of Flowcharts

In this section, the speaker introduces the topic of flowcharts and explains their significance in mapping out processes.

Understanding Flowcharts

  • A flowchart is a graphical tool used to map out processes, showcasing all stages, intermediate activities, and alternative flows.
  • Different notations exist for creating flowcharts; simplicity is key when assessing a student's comprehension of a business process.
  • Key elements in a flowchart include an ellipse for process start/end, a rectangle for activities, a diamond for decisions, and a circle as a connector.

Creating a Process Flowchart

This part delves into creating a process flowchart using specific symbols and guidelines.

Process Initiation and Activities

  • Begin with an ellipse symbolizing the start of the process followed by identifying actions performed by the company involved.
  • Each activity in the flowchart should be labeled with an infinitive verb to maintain clarity and consistency.

Detailed Process Steps

  • The initial step involves separating cups as the first activity in the process.
  • Subsequent steps include removing dirt, disinfecting cups, evaluating them with ultrasound, and discarding any contaminated cups.

Decision Making in Flowcharts

This segment focuses on incorporating decision points within the flowchart to guide further actions.

Decision Points and Actions

  • After cup evaluation via ultrasound, a decision point arises where clean cups proceed while contaminated ones are discarded.
  • Decisions in flowcharts must be answered by preceding activities to ensure logical progression within the process.

Final Processing Steps

Production Process Overview

In this section, the speaker explains the production process involving grinding plastic cups, analyzing material density, mixing plastic flour with other residues, and creating benches from the plastic mixture.

Grinding Process and Material Density Analysis

  • : After grinding plastic cups, an inspector analyzes the material density.
  • : If the density is incorrect after analysis, the material goes through another grinding process for correction.
  • : The rule of not having two activities with the same name in a flowchart is highlighted. If density is still incorrect, it undergoes re-grinding.

Mixing and Bench Creation

  • : The ground flour mixes with other plastic residues before forming benches.
  • : Benches are shaped as desired from the plastic mixture.

Quality Control and Final Steps

This section covers quality control measures such as evaluating bench shape conformity to defined layouts and correcting any discrepancies before storage.

Bench Evaluation and Correction

  • : Benches are evaluated for shape conformity to predefined layouts; any divergence requires correction.
  • : Corrected benches are stored in a warehouse before distribution.

Process Completion and Review

The completion of the production process is discussed along with reviewing steps to ensure no loose ends or errors in activity sequencing.

Process Completion and Review Practices

  • : After storage, a connector symbolizes the end of the process flowchart.
  • : It's emphasized that each box should have an output; any loose ends must be identified by reviewing from start to finish.

Decision Points and Positive Flow

Decision-making points in flowcharts are explored alongside emphasizing positive questioning for smooth process flows.

Decision-Making Best Practices

  • : Each box should lead to an output; multiple outputs indicate errors requiring decision symbols.
Video description
