No Man's Sky Building Guide: Angled Walls and Floors
In this video, the presenter demonstrates how to create angled walls or floors using glitch building techniques in No Man's Sky. The process involves creating a proper foundation for the glitches, preparing the edges of the floor, and creating an angled wire.
Creating a Proper Foundation
- Use a reverse wire glitch to replace your building part with a wire.
- Ensure that you have a connector pointing upwards.
- Duplicate the floor and place it where you want to build.
- Do another reverse wire glitch to get a connector in the center of where the floor used to be.
- Pull that end of the wire down to another connector.
Preparing Edges of Floor
- Select a wall from your build menu or use short walls.
- Reverse Y-glitch from each side of the floor and pull that wire other end to center of floor.
Creating an Angled Wire
- Copy a floor and do another reverse wide glitch on it.
- Bring that reverse wire glitch then back to the connector so that we have a connector right here
- Glitch stone wall on top of this
- Create different angles by using reverse wire glitches.
Universal Adjacency Glitch
- Place light box here
- Store this into my wire cache menu by pressing toggle wire and edit build
- Make sure it shows in the wire menu there place wire
- Duplicate this
Creating Angled Walls and Floors in No Man's Sky
In this video, the presenter demonstrates how to create angled walls and floors in No Man's Sky using wire glitching techniques.
Creating Angled Walls
- Place a short wall and reverse wire glitch it to a connector.
- Choose an angled connector on a window wall and wire glitch it onto the connector of the short wall.
- Connect other walls against the angled wall to complete it.
Creating Angled Roofs
- Place a short wall and reverse wire glitch it to a connector.
- Duplicate the floor with an angled wire at the same height as the previous one.
- Glitch a straight up wall onto the angled wire to create an angled roof.
Creating Angled Floors
- Reverse wire glitch from a stone wall to create an angled wire.
- Glitch a floor onto the angled wire for an angled floor.
The presenter also mentions that light boxes can be used instead of walls for creating angles.
Glitch Building Techniques
In this section, the speaker explains how to use glitch building techniques to create angled walls and floors.
Using Universal Adjacency for Glitch Building
- Use the wall as a source for universal adjacency.
- Go to the light box store and store it into your wire cache.
- Bring it down and glitch it.
- Bring more light boxes using this technique.
- Use wires to connect them where needed.
Creating Angled Walls and Floors
- Copy a wall and glitch it on top of the connector to create an angled wall or floor.
- This is done by using three glitch build techniques: wire glitch, reverse wire glitch, and universal adjacency.
