Installation Guide for IMA Water Technology Filters

Initial Setup of the Filter

• The installation begins with inserting the lower screen (kretina) carefully into the bottom of the filter. It's crucial to ensure that the tube is level with the upper opening, using a ruler or similar tool for accuracy.

• After securing the lower screen, fill the filter with supplied filtering media, adhering to specific treatment order. The filter should be filled approximately two-thirds full before proceeding.

Completing Filter Assembly

• Once filled, attach the upper screen to the provided valve by inserting it and turning until it clicks into place. Ensure proper alignment according to indicator arrows on connections as this may vary by valve model.

• Begin installing manual valves at both input and output points of the system. It’s recommended to include a bypass for easier future maintenance tasks.

Monitoring and Control Installation

• Install a manometer and flow meter at the input; these tools will help monitor optimal working conditions for the filter. Pay attention to valve arrow indicators which dictate installation direction.
