Power Circuit Connections

• A thermal relay contact is included in the control circuit to signal emergencies in case of overheating, along with normally closed buttons for emergency stop and motor shutdown, and a normally open button for starting.

Control Circuit Functionality

• The relay coil is energized to operate both main contacts in the power circuit and auxiliary contacts in the control circuit. An auxiliary normally open contact is used for starting while a normally closed contact serves as an off switch.

• Signal indicators are added to show operational status (on/off), including red and yellow pilot lights. Proper labeling according to standards is emphasized for all buttons involved.

Operational Simulation

• The functionality of emergency stop buttons and their interaction with other components are tested during simulation, beginning with the motor turned off.

• When activating the thermal magnetic switch and pressing the 'on' button, current flows through to energize the relay coil, closing contacts that allow current circulation to start the motor.

Emergency Handling Mechanisms

• Pressing 'off' opens the circuit, deactivating the coil and returning contacts to their initial state. A simulated failure in the thermal relay demonstrates how its auxiliary contact deactivates everything within the control system.
