How to Save Time Reading Research Articles: How to use Resoomer AI Summarizer
Introduction to Resumer
In this section, the speaker introduces a new summarizer called Resumer that allows users to input an article and compress it into its main points.
How Resumer Works
- Resumer is different from other summarizers as it does not rewrite the article in plain language or extract information. Instead, it compresses the text for users.
- Resumer works best when working from an actual PDF source rather than just a URL.
- To use Resumer, simply paste the URL or full text of the article and click on "Resume" to generate a summary.
- The generated summary is accurate as it takes information directly from the original text without rewriting it.
Using Text Analysis
- Users can also use text analysis to highlight sentences that are useful and generated into the summary.
- This feature helps users keep the entire article together while only having to read highlighted sections.
Sharing Summaries
- Users can share summaries by displaying the URL of the summary and sharing it with others.
Exporting and Importing Documents
In this section, the speaker explains how to export articles as a PDF or document, how to upload documents, and how to combine PDFs.
Exporting Articles
- To export an article as a PDF with highlighted features, click on "as a PDF."
- Note that exporting only exports the current page. To get the second page of an article, go to the second page and generate another PDF.
- You can combine multiple PDFs together after generating them.
Uploading Documents
- To upload a document, use the "import document" feature and select your file.
- This is useful if you don't have a link or need to paste in text.
