Creating Your Store
- To get started with Printful, you'll need to create a store on an ecommerce platform that integrates with Printful.
- The process for creating a store will differ depending on the platform you choose.
- Once you've created your store, you'll need to connect it to your Printful account.
- Follow the step-by-step video tutorials provided by Printful to help guide you through the process.
Adding Products
- After creating your store and connecting it to your Printful account, the next step is adding products.
- Choose the product templates tab and select the product template you want to add to your store.
- Customize the colors and sizes of the product as well as add mockups and write a product description.
- Set your price based on both the fulfillment cost from Printful and how much profit you want per product.
Setting Up Pricing
- Figuring out pricing can be tricky since it involves balancing two prices: the fulfillment cost from Printful and what customers are willing to pay for your products.
- Take into account additional costs such as taxes, ecommerce platform fees, advertising etc. when setting up pricing.
Payment Methods
- You need two payment methods: one for transactions between you and customers (direct bank transfer or online payment gateway), another for paying Printful for fulfillment/shipping/taxes.
- Manage payment methods under Billing tab in your Printful Dashboard side menu.
Ordering Samples
- It's recommended that you order samples of your products before selling them so that you can ensure their quality meets expectations.
- Seeing products in real life will also help you write better product descriptions.
Marketing Your Products
- A good marketing strategy is essential to drive customers to your store.
- Think about branding and social media presence, learn from others for inspiration, and experiment with different strategies.
