After doing so, Loki refused to clear his name earning him a reputation as the "Shame of Elbaph", and he instead set out to sea to take revenge against the World Government. Loki was later brought back to Elbaph by Shanks and imprisoned for the next six years[9] before being freed by Luffy and Hajrudin to assist them against the World Government's latest attempt to annex the land of giants.[10] A devotee of the legendary pirate Rocks D. Xebec, Loki has long sought the destruction of the current world that the “Sun God” Nika is prophesied to bring, and in the present day has declared himself as the Sun God who will end the world.[6]
