Steps for Creating the Sling

• Begin by positioning yourself behind the injured person. Extend a triangular bandage vertically so that it hangs below the injured arm and drapes over the torso.

• Ensure that the top point of the bandage passes over the healthy shoulder, while the middle point is directed towards the elbow of the injured arm. The victim's forearm should be positioned slightly oblique, with their hand elevated above their elbow.

• Cross the ends of the bandage over the victim's chest, directing fingers towards the opposite shoulder. Securely hold one end near their elbow and bring the other end up to rest on their injured shoulder.

• Tie both ends together at one side of their neck using a knot, ensuring not to place it directly on any bony structures like vertebrae.
