  • The host mentions lightning in the background as he was preparing for this session.
  • Allah talks about trees, vegetables, fruits, rivers, and other signs that we take for granted but should be grateful for.
  • These signs are meant to remind us of Allah in a way that causes a healthy level of fear and apprehension.
  • Messengers are also sent by Allah to remind people.

Theological Foundation for Ibrahim's Call to His People

This section focuses on verses 14 through 16 of the Quran, which lay the theological foundation for Ibrahim's call to his people. The section discusses the worthlessness of idols compared to Allah and how everything functions in accordance with Allah's creation.

Prayer Should Be Directed Towards Allah Alone

  • All prayer should be directed towards Allah alone.
  • Those that you address prayers to besides him are altogether powerless in their response to you.
  • Praying to anyone but Allah is like a man who stretches out his hand to water and says, "Come to my mouth," but the water has no power to move itself.

Everything Prostrates Themselves Willingly or Under Compulsion

  • All that is in the heavens and Earth prostrate themselves willingly or under compulsion.
  • Even if there are things that refuse to bow down, they still function under the physical laws that Allah has created for them.
  • You can't even control your shadows; this is part of the power of Allah over you.

There Is No Escape From What Allah Has Put Forth as His Laws

  • Say rather, "Allah is the creator of all things; he is the one and he is the compeller."
  • Everything functions in accordance with his creation with his loss subhanahu wa ta'ala, and there is no escape from what Allah has put forth as his laws in regards to creation.

Ibrahim's Call To His Father And His People

This section discusses how Ibrahim called upon his father and his people to abandon their idol worship and turn towards Allah.

Ibrahim's Question To His Father

  • "Oh my father, why do you worship those idols that don't see you, hear you, or benefit you in any way whatsoever?"

Religion Molded to Fit Material Pursuits

  • Religion that is molded to fit your material pursuits is going to let you down.

The Oneness of Allah

In this section, Sheikh Abdullah speaks about the importance of centralizing everything around God and not around his creation. He talks about how Islam is submission and surrender to the Creator.

Submission to the Creator

  • Islam is submission and surrender to the Creator.
  • Acknowledge and intensify your response to the one that brought everything into existence and controls it.
  • Shaytan will constantly try to give you dawa and call you to do that which is disobedience to Allah.

Accountability for Deeds

In this section, Sheikh Abdullah discusses how each person will be held accountable for their deeds in front of Allah. He also talks about how people should prepare themselves in this life for what comes after.

Standing Accountable Before Allah

  • Each person will stand in front of the one that is irresistible, with nowhere to turn or go.
  • Preparation for standing accountable before Allah must be done in this life because there is no turning back when that time comes.
  • Allah created the heavens and earth in truth, acknowledging His power mentioned as irresistible.

Power of Allah

  • The power of Allah is ultimate control over everything.
  • There is no form of drowsiness nor sleep from the creator of the heavens and earth.
  • Replacing people on Earth with other forms of creation is not at all difficult for Allah.

Conversation Between Shaytan & Iblis

In this section, Sheikh Abdullah paints a scene giving us an idea of the conversation or statement of shaytan and what is going to take place.
