Video description

This video was developed under the NQS PLP program which was funded until 2014. ECA has continued to provide these videos as a legacy to the original program, however all associated tools and forums are no longer available. Educator engagement saw these children remain involved and engaged with play dough as part of mixed aged group. These vignettes ask educators to observe closely and describe what you see- the interactions, the play, the environment and the learning. Think about questions such as; What was the thing that stood out in the vignette to you? What questions would you like to ask? These are small snippets in a day and much else would have been happening that is not visible to the viewer. But the aim is to sharpen our observations and thinking about what we see and then to think about how this might inform their planning in their own service. What next?
