Theory: Sloterdijk's Critique of Cynical Reason
In this video I give a kind of introduction to Peter Sloterdijk's Critique of Cynical Reason--a great book that is deeply relevant today and which also will serve as a kind of prologue for my upcoming series on his Spheres trilogy. Tackling content like this in a short youtube video is tough, and I'm definitely still learning, so it's not a perfect introduction by any means, and a lot of content was cut. But I think the main thrust of the argument is captured fairly well and hope that it's of use and informative! And, who are we kidding, nobody else is covering this material. ;) Anyway, comments, feedback, criticism are much appreciated! Follow me on twitter @culture_think . What follows are some timestamps.
