A few months ago I read Building a Second Brain by Tiago Forte and I found the whole concept of the second brain really interesting and something that I wanted to try out for myself. There are loads of different ways to set up your own second brain as there are loads of different app combinations you can use to make a really efficient and effective second brain. However, for people who are just starting to think about their second brain, it can be pretty overwhelming to actually start and set up a second brain from scratch. One of the main things that needs to be taken into account in a second brain productivity system is the CODE Method which is basically how you are going to deal with any information and any new ideas that you have. Firstly, you need to capture the information which you see as important. Then, you organize this information according to when you are going to need it. Next, you distill the information which means that you try to find the key points of the information you have captured. Finally, you express what you know or in other words, you show your work to other people. This CODE Method is the core foundation of the second brain productivity system. This video is going to show you how to set up a really simple second brain to get you started using this CODE Method.
