The reason this video is so long is because it was originally going to be two parts (a part 2 and a part 3) but the ending of part 2 was a little weak (end of Avery's pov) and I just felt part 3 would require way too much context. Soo we combined them into one. I think I'm gonna post a full behind the scenes/deleted scenes video on my second channel @Twifies where I talk about how this video was made/why certain decisions were made. But something I really like are all the little headnods to some of my favorite pieces of fiction. Some more explicit, like in the library, but if you ever watched Adventure Time then those lines from the King should have sounded pretty familiar. This is easily the longest I've ever spent on a video and I never want it to happen again lol it feels unnatural to wait this long between uploads. I promise I'll be back to normal soon. This will either age well or it's not but this video feels pretty different from part 1 which gets me kind of scared. I think this video is lowkey not that scary, or at least it's not dense with scares and I might have lost the plot of what made part 1 good. But who knows. I think the ending slaps and the weakest scenes are (as always) the parts where you try and force fear. Aka mountain chase, and that chase after the floor disappears beneath Avery in the gray buildings. I just think you can't force fear and tension is where it shines. But who knows I've watched this video so many times I can't tell anymore. A note to the villain, I don't think of this as "The King in Yellow" perse, if anything it follows more from the Lovecraftian adaptation, Hastur.
