Representante del ACNUR en España, Representante del ACNUR en San José, Costa Rica. Representante Adjunto del ACNUR en Bogotá, Colombia, Jefe de la Oficina del ACNUR en Medellín, Colombia, Representante del ACNUR en Brasil, Jefe de la Oficina del ACNUR en el Salvador. Luego de más de 26 años de servicio, se jubiló en el ACNUR. Sigue activo colaborando con ACCEM, con Universidades y Centros de educación superior. Sus estudios superiores los realizó en Francia en: Universidad de la Sorbona, Paris I, - Francia Ciencias Humanas. Doctorado: Geografía Humana.
