We were approached by Petronas team in Malaysia to create a corporate commercial highlighting the importance of Operational Integrity among the Petronas engineers and on-site staff. The "Petronas HSE Operational Integrity" corporate relates to integrity in the workplace through a father-son relationship. The video shows a reserved father who advises his son Alif (now 2 years in his career at Petronas) to be honest and accountable in his job. Alif is reminded of safety procedures and to do his duties responsibly, even when taking shortcuts might appear to be tempting, through his father’s unassuming, unemotional account. This personal values / professional responsibility interplay is a strong link between family and integrity on the job. Our team started with writing the script very carefully to make the story as close as possible to the client’s idea. Following the script approval, the next step was to storyboard and map out the visual flow. The father and son roles were played by talented actors who were scouted carefully. The client’s on site team naturally played a part in the scenes. Makeup team and director of photography were used during this production to achieve a result that is up to international standards. The final output was polished with post-production work, including editing, voice over syncing and color correction.
