Joan's Leadership and Victories

  • During battles, she was shot in the helmet with a cannonball but continued her trail of victories.

Capture and Trial

  • During the siege of Compain, Joan was captured by the English. She attempted to escape but was eventually placed before the court of Inquisition.
  • Despite being illiterate, she was forced to sign a confession of guilt fabricated by the English during her trial.

Tragic End and Legacy

  • In 1431, at only nineteen years old, Joan was burnt at the stake. However, years later in 1920, she was declared a saint for her bravery against corruption.
