Transcription Process
- Transcription is defined as creating an mRNA copy from DNA, occurring within the nucleus.
- There are three key phases in transcription: initiation, elongation, and termination.
Phases of Transcription
- During initiation, RNA polymerase approaches the DNA in the nucleus at a promoter region to start forming mRNA using a DNA template.
