Creating My Own Ben 10 Aliens
In this video, the creator showcases his childhood creation of a Ben 10 alien named Robo-Froggy and how he updated it to create Croakick. He also talks about Ultimate Aliens.
Childhood Creation: Robo-Froggy
- Robo-Froggy is a robotic frog that is almost identical to Echo Echo in looks and powers.
- The abilities cloning and sound attacks are removed from the character.
- The focus is on powerful kicks, with legs similar to Crashhopper power-wise.
- Croakick can attack or catch enemies with his long frog tongue made up of a thick slime that can be detached or else spat at.
Ultimate Aliens
- Ultimate forms are basically Ben 10's answer to Pokémon's Mega Evolutions.
Ultimate Croakick
In this video, the creator explains how they remade their 8-year-old self's alien design into something they are proud of. They introduce Ultimate Croakick, an ultimate form of their original alien design.
Introducing Ultimate Croakick
- Ultimate Croakick is the ultimate form of the creator's original alien design.
- In his ultimate form, Croakick becomes larger and bulkier to address his base form's low defense.
- He gains the ability to inflate sacks all over his body that can block incoming attacks and deflect physical attacks like punches.
- Additionally, Ultimate Croakick gains a new ability which are water bombs attached to his wrist that explode upon impact and deal serious damage.
Nerfing Ultimates
- The majority of ultimate forms in the series lose an ability or physical trait from their base form.
- For example, Ultimate Humungosaur loses his ability to grow in size, and Ultimate Echo Echo loses the ability to duplicate.
- The creator decided to give a small nerf to all of their Ultimates.
- In Ultimate Croakick's case, his agility and jumping distance take a hit due to his larger and heavier form. However, his kicks are still more powerful, and he can also throw a punch now if he needs to.
Omniverse Style
- The creator chose to depict both Croakick and his ultimate form in the Omniverse style since the base form was mostly drawn in the UAF artstyle.
- Since we only see Albedo's version of Ultimates in Omniverse, Ultimate Croakick has both Ben and Albedo's color schemes.
