The Secret Ceremony

• On the day of their meeting with the priest, guided by Yesenia's friend, they arrive at a hidden entrance of a church where they are led into an underground room beautifully decorated for ceremonies.

• The priest welcomes them warmly and prepares for their wedding ceremony. He assures them that this day marks the beginning of their eternal love as they exchange vows before God.

Consequences of Their Union

• After their marriage ceremony concludes successfully, curiosity leads them to ask the priest if he fears being discovered. He responds that he would sacrifice his life for others to receive God's grace.
